Building partnerships to support the hybrid electric ferry industry

Marine electrical system integrator Elkon is a subsidiary of marine propulsion specialist SCHOTTEL. The two companies are focused on hybrid technologies – including battery, hydrogen, hydrogen fuel cells, ammonia and LNG – and integrating them into their propulsion designs and programs to support their partners. They work together with their customers and are a vital part of the decision-making process when looking into new vessel projects.

Elkon and SCHOTTEL are excited about the immediate and long-term future of their business and believe that their successes are their customers’ successes.
