About The Event
Technologies for electrification and hybridization of workboats, ferries, superyachts, other marine vessels + port and harbor infrastructure
The Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo North America Conference and Exhibition, to be held in Houston, Texas, November 2 & 3, 2022, is dedicated to showcasing the very latest and next-generation electric and hybrid marine propulsion technologies and port infrastructure solutions. With exhibits and conference speakers from all over the world, the event is exclusively for shipowners, shipyards, operators, fleet managers and port authorities interested in exploring the next generation of marine propulsion and port infrastructure.
Many vessels, from tugboats, ferries, offshore support vessels and other workboats through to pleasure craft, luxury yachts, container ships and naval boats, are suitable for hybridization or full electrification. The event will showcase and discuss the rapid progress being made in battery technology, present the latest hybrid propulsion solutions and innovations in alternative fuels, and make the business case for commercial operators to switch to electric and hybrid technology. Also on show will be technologies and solutions for next-generation port infrastructure, charging and cargo handling to achieve a more efficient, smarter port.
