Nikos Vasileiadis
Nikos is a maritime consultant at the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) and a naval architect and marine engineer by training. He specializes in decarbonizing the offshore maritime industry, supporting IMCA members with strategy, policy and technical advice on alternative fuels and energy efficiency while also supporting IMCA’s strategy design with data analytics. He previously worked for Ricardo, where he gained significant experience with IMO and EU GHG policies and policymaking procedures, including the 2023 IMO Strategy, FuelEU and EU ETS, as well as the commercial readiness of marine fuels and energy efficiency technologies. Previously, Nikos worked as a naval architect for a superyacht design firm based in Athens.
