HBM Test and Measurement

Visitors will be able to learn about HBM’s eDrive system, a solution for testing inverter-driven electric motors. It measures multiphase, medium-to-high voltage, mid-to-large-scale maritime electrical and hybrid propulsion systems. While it enables the acquisition of standard parameters such as power, efficiency and losses, it also performs advanced analysis including motor efficiency mapping, space vector and dq0 transformation, and airgap torque computation.

The system can be expanded beyond electrical measurements by adding input modules, enabling the acquisition of mechanical parameters such as vibration and temperature.
