Bowman Heat Exchangers
The growth of higher powered (60kW+) electric propulsion systems has created the need for component cooling circuits to manage the heat loads generated, both to extend component life and to maintain operational performance by protecting the system from excessive heat. Primary cooling requirements include the battery pack and onboard chargers, AC-DC converters, DC-DC converters, and the electric drive itself.
Bowman, well known for marine propulsion cooling, will exhibit its range of heat exchangers and oil coolers suitable for and already specified on electric and hybrid propulsion systems.
