Conference overview

Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo North America, taking place on March 13 & 14, 2022, provides a much-needed opportunity for North American shipowners, shipyards, operators, fleet managers, naval architects and port authorities to engage with speakers and suppliers who will present the next generation of electric and hybrid marine propulsion and port infrastructure technologies and solutions at the conference.

Many vessels, from tugboats, ferries, offshore support vessels and other workboats, through to pleasure craft, luxury yachts, container ships and naval boats, are suitable for hybridization or full electrification. The conference will showcase and discuss the rapid progress being made in battery technology, present the latest hybrid propulsion solutions and innovations in alternative fuels, and make the business case for commercial operators to switch to electric and hybrid technology.

The Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo North America Conference will focus on the efforts being made to hybridize and electrify vessels and their infrastructure in the USA and Canada. Using case studies of actual vessels, research from industry and academia, and reviews of technology from end users and system integrators, the conference will discuss the potential, identify needs and map out the routes to more electrification and hybridization of vessels in North America. The format is designed to maximize discussion and enable attendees to engage and network with potential partners.
