Expansion of emission-free marine operations
Phinergy Marine Ltd
At the 2019 expo, the public will get its first glimpse of Phinergy Marine’s aluminum-air containerized battery system. Already fielded for land applications, Phinergy’s state-of-the-art metal-air technology, scaled up and adapted to marine applications, enables an energy density that surpasses conventional battery technologies, with no degradation over time. Possible applications include a zero-emission substitute for an internal combustion range extender, downsizing onboard LIBs packages by combining an Al-air package for overall lower costs, a mobile energy source in emission-control areas, and off-the-grid power.
Phinergy Marine will showcase an Al-air 20ft (6m) shipping container capable of providing multi-MWh capacity.
