CMD

Blue Hybrid System is a mechatronic marine propulsion system entirely conceived and designed by CMD, applicable to all kinds of engines, both old and new, which enables the operator to navigate in all marine areas where respect for the environment requires silence and zero pollution emissions.

The system is made up of a three-phase synchronous electric engine that provides power to navigate up to 8kn in electric mode. The alteration of electric/endothermic/electric propulsion takes place automatically thanks to the hybrid control unit (HCU) programmed entirely by CMD.

During endothermic navigation, the batteries are recharged automatically, guaranteeing over two hours of navigation in the standard version. The CMD technology ensures electric propulsion control takes place through the same control commands of the endothermic propulsion, displaying the operating parameters through a standard SYMRAD display.
