In the marine and oil and gas industries, a broad offering of technologically advanced, environmentally sustainable, and economically sound solutions is offered by Wärtsilä. At this year’s expo, Wärtsilä will share insights into its recently inaugurated hybrid testing center in Trieste, Italy. The company will also focus on its new high-speed engine, the Wärtsilä 14, which is suitable for hybrid installations, and its recent hybrid new-build projects and upgrades, such as the world’s first hybrid retrofit for a short-sea shipping vessel and a recently commissioned hybrid escort tug built for the Swedish port of Luleå.
