Dorothy has over 35 years of experience and has advised multiple technology companies to develop, commercialize and raise funding in roles within BAe, Connect Scotland, Scottish Enterprise, the Industry Technology Facilitator, Global Underwater Hub and Energy Transition Zone. As managing director of Ecosse IP, Dorothy raised funding and developed and commercialized a range of innovative subsea and renewable technologies. Dorothy has a wealth of experience managing marine and renewable technologies and is helping drive the Oasis Power Buoy to commercialization.

There is substantial pressure for the offshore wind industry to decarbonize maintenance vessels because, once operational, they are the largest source of CO2 emissions for offshore wind farms. This presentation describes a marinized offshore charging solution designed for wind farm maintenance vessels to enable their transition to electrical propulsion by providing in-field charging.
