Three energy sources, one ferry
Green City Ferries - Stand E3090
Green City Ferries focuses on commuting on inland waterways, offering low-emission solutions for operators and ferry owners.
Find out about its vessel, BB Green, which is a high-speed passenger ferry with three different energy sources: electric, hybrid and hydrogen. It runs on an air cushion, which reduces the power need by 40%.
Presented will be three different drivelines: full battery, serial hybrid and fuel cells.
In electric mode, BB Green can operate at 28 knots for 30 minutes and recharge in fewer than 15 minutes. A new LTO battery pack will be 400-500kWh. Operating 2,000 hours per year, the batteries will last for 10 years.
